Aniket’s background is in engineering & research with a focus on the environment and energy, and he has served in product management and consulting roles across a range of organizations — which, incidentally, made him acutely aware of the pain points that Scholate addresses. As a senior product manager at a biobased products startup, Aniket was responsible for new market development. As a consultant for an environmental engineering firm, he worked closely with industry, academia, and government entities to improve efficiencies and reduce environmental impacts across air, water, and soil. As the youngest program manager at a diesel emission controls manufacturer, he delivered complex catalyst-based clean diesel technologies to Fortune 100 engine & vehicle manufacturers. As a researcher, Aniket has co-authored over a dozen peer-reviewed journal articles, and his published work has been cited hundreds of times.
Aniket holds a PhD in chemical & environmental engineering from the University of California, and an MBA from Wharton.
Jillian McNerney, Robotics Group, SRI International
Jillian McNerney is the Operations Manager for the Robotics Group at SRI International and co-founder of Progressive Women Silicon Valley. Prior to these positions, she managed several technological portfolios at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) in Washington, DC. Jillian is also a veteran US Air Force officer and former convoy commander during the conflict in Iraq. She now enjoys numerous outdoor activities, including skiiing, snowboarding, and surfing. John Braze is an accomplished business leader with more than 15 years of experience in the product development, design, business development, and launch of large, complex equipment in the healthcare, nuclear power, and industrial domains. John is presently leading product strategy and development for next generation, cancer treatment products, designed to make advanced technology available to capital-constrained clinics and hospitals worldwide. John was part of the engineering team that deployed the first commercial proton therapy equipment at Massachusetts General Hospital and led the team deploying that technology at the National Cancer Center in South Korea. Angela is the founder of Capalio 凯利, an online platform helping private buyers discover and evaluate U.S. commercial real estate investment properties under $10 million. We are primarily focused on opening the market to the large and growing pool of buyers in the Chinese community locally and abroad. Previously, Angela analyzed over $1 billion of real estate investments at both Farallon Capital Management and Vantage Data Centers. Paul Monasterio, PhD., Vice President and Head of the Tech practice, Applied Predictive Technologies (APT)
Paul helps leading organizations develop successful strategies rooted in data-driven insights and empirical evidence. He has led dozens of engagements with firms in high tech, financial services, manufacturing, retail, restaurants, and the public sector in the United States, Asia, and Australia. He also leads business development, growth, and strategy for APT’s technology practice. Previously he founded APT’s Australia office, co-founded APT’s Japan office, and was responsible for growth and key client relationships in APT’s Greater China office. Prior to APT, Paul founded Forg, a non-profit developing a micro finance inspired venture fund in Thailand. He also worked on the development of novel theoretical and computational approaches to study advanced material systems at UC Berkeley, the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and MIT. Paul holds Bachelors degrees in Mathematics and Nuclear Engineering from UC Berkeley and a Ph.D. in Nuclear Science and Engineering from MIT.

Girish is deeply involved in the non-profit sector serving as a board member and CFO at CALICO Center, which brings healing and justice to child abuse victims and was a board member of Sankara Eye Foundation, USA – one of the largest community eye care initiatives in the world. Paulynn Yu has played a strategic role in emerging Financial industries such as Islamic Finance, P2P lending and payments. Her international experience includes working in an innovative Sales and Trading team in Kuala Lumpur where some of the world’s first Islamic Finance products were born. She has also performed consulting and project work for Fintech startups in Cape Town and Nairobi. She is now contracting with an analytics startup in San Francisco. Shyam Desai, Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager, Citibank
Shyam Desai is a Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager at Citibank’s Commercial Banking group in San Francisco. Shyam strives to be the point banker for Middle Market companies on the West Coast addressing all their financing needs. Over the past 13 years he has worked with Citi’s Secured Lending and Risk Treasury Group in Mumbai (India) and with Citi’s International Banking group in US. Shyam’s passion for developing and nurturing growth companies and talented entrepreneurs has been evident throughout his career. Early on, he mentored start-ups at the ‘Cleantech Open’ Accelerator and continued assisting mid-stage growth companies across all sectors.
